BLERDcity acknowledges that we gather on the unceded traditional homeland of the Lenape (Lenapehoking) people who were violently displaced as a result of European settler colonialism over the course of 400 years. We honor the Lenape people, their past and present elders, and future generations to come as we commit to supporting the process of dismantling the legacies of settler colonialism and their ongoing affect in the fields of art, entertainment, science, economics and technology.
